This weekend...on his one day off...which he ended up working in the morning for overtime. When he got home from working...he went to Ikea with me...and we bought a Helmer to keep all my nail polishes.
Then...to put the cherry on the top...he put it together for me! Isn't he awesome?
So...I figured I'd better let you all see my nail polish stash!!! By showing you these pictures...I'm admitting that I'm addicted! That's the 1st stage in Addiction recovery right?
So...the first drawer...is all the basic stuff that I constantly use...base coat...like Nail Envy...top coats, cuticle oils
Look...I even figured out how to add the watermark...isn't that clever.
So...the next drawer down...is my nail art. The art pens, my stamping supplies, my nail brushes. Notice the tape...and page reinforcers...these are great tips I picked up from some other bloggers. Also...my little packs of rhinestones.
But I always find myself steering towards OPI. But then...oh drat...3rd big admission. I found A-England...and Butter polishes...you know...those 3/5 free polishes...meaning they are better for you and the environment. Drat...they are also not free...read EXPENSIVE here!
But...here is my drawer with Glitters and neutrals...notice...mostly OPI:
Well...now I've gone and shown you that drawer...might as well...show you the OPI only drawer:
Look at that...my heart just sings when I open this drawer! But then...oh drat...my OCD kicks in and I now realize...all my OPI emblems are not organized and readable in the same direction. Well...you all know what I will do when I get home tonight!
But...then...my recently expanded drawer as I'm trying to quit my OPI addiction:
Look at that..Revlon, Fingerpaints, Nicole by OPI, Sephora by OPI, Spoiled, Wet n Wild, Sinful Colors, China glaze...did anyone notice that I snuck in those by OPI colors...tehe (our secret right?)
Then...the last drawer...backup supplies...including qtips, Salon Express electric file, cotton balls/pads
Oh look...OPI rapid dry sprays...hm...who put those in there?
Well...darn it...not enough drawers...so what about tools???
Well...dang...they'll have to go on the side.
So there you have it...my stash! Can you believe it...the Helmer is full to the brim...oh well...that just gives me an excuse to go back to Ikea...when my Hunger Games collection comes in!
I do want to point out...that I used another blogger's advice. I put all my plates...in 4X6 photo albums that I got on Clearance at Target.
Those are my newest acquisition...the Red Angel plates...starting at 101...
But I might also have 2 sets of BM, Konad 1-10, Shany and well...someone from Tokyo might be sending me...so Disney sets!
So there...full confession...for now! Chat with you all soon.
